These wonderful Olive Oil Soaps are hand crafted using a traditional cold process and are one of the earliest forms of vegetable based soaps.
Soaps made with vegetable oils have many beneficial properties for the skin. They are also SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and parabens free, while the natural fat provides protection, improves skin tone and softness, and helps to give younger looking skin through restructuring oil action. In addition each soap has its own special properties relating to the essential oils and other natural ingredients they contain. These soaps are hand crafted in large loaves and sold by the slice. Each slice is approximately 95g.

'Olive Oil' Hand Crafted Soaps (fragrances 1-10)
WATERMELON - Watermelon oil gives moisture, stabilizes the cell wall and calms and soothes the skin. This soap also contains coconut oil which has lauric acid, a fatty acid which has restructuring properties and gives the skin moisture, protection and softness. The olive oil extracts also leave your skin feeling fresh and moisturised.
SEAWEED - Seaweed has an exfoliating effect and is used to treat cellulite and fluid retention. The olive oil extracts leave your skin feeling fresh and moisturised.
ROSEHIP - Rosehip is reported to be a highly effective skin treatment. It is said to be good for wrinkles, scars, burns and to help promote skin regeneration. The olive oil base will moisturise and nourish the skin while the rosehip oil helps in toning and firming of the skin. It evens the skin tone and the lovely rosehip smell aids relaxation.
VANILLA - This soap contains vanilla and coconut oil. Coconut oil contains lauric acid, a fatty acid, which has restructuring properties and gives the skin moisture, protection and softness. The olive oil extracts will also leave your skin feeling fresh and moisturised.
RED CLAY - Red clay gives the skin back its natural balance and clears the pores, helping to fight acne and blackheads. The olive oil base will moisturise and nourish the skin.
GREEN TEA - Green Tea is reportedly the second most consumed beverage on the planet, second only to water. In more recent years is has come to light that Green Tea also has benefits for the skin. Green Tea extracts are rich in anti-oxidants which can delay skin ageing and help prevent wrinkles. This soap also has some anti bacterial properties that soothe skin irritations and acne. It can also help with more serious skin conditions such as Psoriasis and Eczema. It helps to promote quicker healing from wounds and some believe it can help prevent skin cancers. The tea leaves in the soap help exfoliate and cleanse the skin, and the olive oil extracts leave it feeling fresh and moisturised.
JOJOBA - Jojoba oil regenerates the cells of the epidermis, soothes the skin and provides it with moisture. It can also help eliminate blackheads and spots. It is further recommended during pregnancy as it improves elasticity of the skin and may therefore prevent stretch marks. Good also after shaving and waxing.
LAVENDER - Lavender contains tannins, which are antiseptic and wound-healing, and so protect the skin. The lavender essential oil gives it calming and relaxing properties while the olive oil extracts leave your skin feeling fresh and moisturised.
LEMON - Lemon oil has firming properties and is perfect for cleansing your face and controlling acne, spots and impurities in general. It also revitalises your skin and can help reduce wrinkles. Due to its acidity however, it must be used with caution. The olive oil extracts leave it feeling fresh and moisturised.
ORANGE & CINNAMON - Orange oil calms the skin and provides it with moisture and valuable vitamin C. This soap also contains ground cinnamon which exfoliates, soothes and revives the skin.The olive oil base will also moisturise and nourish the skin.
